10 nights / 1,700 miles
(2,500 Km)
Available year-round, but ideal March to Nov

There couldn’t be a more appropriate name for this sampler platter of Brazil’s interesting history, rich culture, delicious cuisine and great motorcycling roads.

During this ride, we spend the night in three wonderfully preserved, Portuguese colonial villages, two of which are UNESCO World Heritage cities, where it seems time has stood still.

We will also sleep in a mountain town settled by Swiss escaping Napoleon Bonaparte, and a beach town built by Argentines following Bridgette Bardot. We dine at a traditional steak house, experiment regional dishes and even enjoy a lesson on Brazilian cooking.

We will wind along Brazil’s most scenic coastal highway, climb over 5,000 feet to twist across the mountains of Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais States, and to complete the Brazil experience, drop back down to the beach front metropolis of Rio de Janeiro, referred to locally as the “marvelous city.”

Not surprisingly, this has become our most popular route.
